LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO CORRECTION DETAIL

We had recently been asked to do a full correction detail on a Lamborghini Gallardo on behalf of Amari Supercars. The car itself was clean to a standard, but covered with swirl marks. Here is the car on arrival:

As you can see it's fairly clean as it was cleaned by the valeter that now works for Amari, although some of the details have been missed.

We started off by rinsing the car down then pre soaking the door, boot and bonnet shuts with Auto Glym Power Max 2 before cleaning with brushes and rinsing out.

We then Snow Foamed the car using Valet Pro Ph Neutral and cleaned the wheels using Valet Pro Bilbery:

The car was then washed with the 'two bucket method' using Dodo Juice Sour Power before being taken inside to be clayed with a Dodo Juice Super Natural Clay Bar and Dodo Juice Born Slippy for lube, to remove any surface contaminates.

Once this was complete, the car was re-foamed:

The car was dried using a Dodo Juice Supernatural Drying Towel.

Then it was time to inspect the defects and check the paint depths of the car before machining the car.

Then the more delicate parts of the car were taped up in preperation for machine polishing:

The defects were removed by using a Menzerna Cutting Pad and Menzerna Power Gloss to tackle the deeper swirls and scratches, and then Dodo Juice Lime Prime on a 3M Polishing Pad to refine.

Once the car was all corrected, it was waxed with Dodo Juice Blue Velvet. The tyres were then dressed with Auto Glym Rubber Cleaner. Uunder the arches and the engine bay were dressed with Chemical Guys Bare Bones. All exterior plastics were then dresses with Chemical Guys Super Shine and the windows were cleaned with Auto Glym Fast Glass.

The interior was given an in depth clean and all the leather was cleaned and conditioned with Gliptone Liquid Leather Cleaner followed by the conditioner.
